GCC Social Sustainability Report 2007
 The Chihuahua Cement Group shares with the Inter American Cement Federation members an outlook of their first Social Sustainability report for 2007. People, Community and Environmental Quality, are the action axis which the company has established in order to work hand in hand with the cement industry's sustainability, through a serious commitment with the planet's environmental health, the improvement in the life quality of its employees and with the community progress and the inhabitants which interact with the business on a daily basis.

1st FICEM-APCAC Concrete Masonry Award Winners
 The Federación Interamericana del Cemento FICEM-APCAC delivered on past August 8th the 1st FICEM-APCAC Concrete Masonry Inter-American Awards within the Concrete Masonry International Seminar in San José de Costa Rica with the purpose of promoting the good use of the concrete masonry as a sustainable construction system and the communication of the best practices and success cases from the American construction industry.

 Guatemala's Cement and Concrete Institute, ICCG, with the support of the Inter American Cement Federation, FICEM-APCAC, the Ibero American Federation of Pre mixed Mortar, FIHP, and the Institute of Qualification and Productivity of the Guatemala's Construction Chamber, ICYPIC S, held an International Seminar on Concrete Industrialized Housing, last 26 and 27th of May at the Westin Camino Real Hotel.
